The Insub collective explores for a second year the territory of the Geneva countryside, in the municipality of Laconnex, articulating an experimental activity around a piece of land and its surrounding (paths, forests, etc.), questioning the relationship we have with the soil and its work, the ecological and sound environments, and the potential meeting points of the musical and agrarian, urban and natural respective spheres of activity.
Inspired by the way fields work, at various periods already, has generated music that evokes or structures it, this polyphonic utopia formulates the poetic hypothesis of a reverse exploration, starting from music as canvas and as a tool.
Throughout the year, from winter 2022 to October 2023, nine musicians (Anouck Genthon, Anna-Kaisa Meklin, Antoine Läng, Christophe Berthet, Cyril Bondi, d'incise, Raphaël Ortis, Rodolphe Loubatière & Violeta Motta), will deploy a series of experiences and performances and will welcome three other Swiss collectives (Gamut, Bruit & Babel).

Le collectif Insub. investit pour une seconde année le territoire de la campagne genevoise, sur la commune de Laconnex, articulant une activité expérimentale autour d'une parcelle et ses proximités (chemins, forêts,..), interrogeant les rapports que nous entretenons avec la terre et son travail, les environnements écologiques et sonores, et les points de rencontre potentiels des sphères d’activités respectives musicales et agraires, urbaines et naturelles.
S’inspirant de la manière dont les travaux des champs ont, à diverses époques déjà, donné lieu à des musiques qui les évoquent ou les structurent, cette utopie polyphonique émet l’hypothèse poétique d’une exploration à rebours en partant de la musique comme canevas et comme outil.
Neuf musicien.ne.s (Anouck Genthon, Anna-Kaisa Meklin, Antoine Läng, Christophe Berthet, Cyril Bondi, d'incise, Raphaël Ortis, Rodolphe Loubatière & Violeta Motta), déploieront tout au long de l'année, de l’hiver 2022 à octobre 2023 une série d'expériences et de performances et y accueilleront trois autres collectifs suisses (Gamut, Bruit & Babel).
